A new 37 inch LED TV

The American company Vizio is bringing a new TV to customers everywhere. The latest E370VP model is stock full of nice features and its performance is supposedly very good. Vizio is among the most well-known and appreciated manufacturers out there, so we are expecting only good things from their new device. Does it rise up to expectations or not? To answer that, we decided to test the TV and see whether or not it is a good buy. Here is our review.

Very slim and light

When seeing the E370VP LED TV for the first time, we very much liked its exterior; the product comes in black with a shiny and sleek bezel which makes it look stylish. Other than that, the device is 35.1″ x 1.9″ x 22.5″ and weighs 9kg. In comparison to other TVs, this one is not as slim and as light, therefore carrying it around from room to room won’t be that comfortable.
We noticed that the front comes with a 37 inch Class Edge Lit Razor LED LCD screen. The Razor LED backlighting technology did the following during our tests: it provided the device with a slim design that makes the TV fit in any room and great, really smooth image quality, great colors and contrast. The display features specifications such as a HD resolution of 1080p, 200.000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, a response time of 5m and 1.06 billion colors. VIZIO-E370VP

Excellent colors provided

The 178 degrees viewing angle meant that we could watch the TV without hurting our necks in the process. The response time, when compared to the one on other products from other brands, meant that there were basically no blurs. As is standard with Vizio TVs, the dynamic contrast ratio was able to offer both brighter whites and good black levels along with excellent colors; all of these combined enabled us to watch a movie in ideal viewing conditions. The 1080p resolution of E370VP translated into a number of more than 2.000.000 pixels which, in their turn, meant very clear details and clarity.

3 HDMI ports

No Vizio is complete without built-in ambient light sensor and the E370VP isn’t an exception. This technology controlled fluctuations in the brightness after which it simply auto-adjusted to make sure that we could watch the device without encountering problems with the picture.
As for connectivity, the Vizio E370VP is packed with the following: 1 VGA, 1 component (shared with composite input), 3 HDMI (with HDCP), 1 USB 2.0, 1 stereo audio and 1 RF Connector for Internal Tuner. And, because we are here, we’d like to say that it was great to have 3 HDMI ports, because they made it possible to easily connect the following devices: Blu-ray player, gaming console, home theater and many more. We noticed there were no Ethernet and no Analog Audio Out when we’ve performed this review.

Eco friendly

The audio performance was nice; as usual, the device comes with a pair of stereo speakers, SRS TruSurround HD and SRS TruVolume. The stereo speakers have a total power of 20 Watts and are capable of high-frequency details and deep bass; moreover, they got rid of volume fluctuations via programming.
Those looking for an eco-friendly TV are in luck, because the latest Vizio E370VP exceeds new Energy Star 4.1 Guidelines and its LED edge lights have no mercury. These two facts will considerably leave a smaller print on the environment and protect your pockets.
The device ships with a remote control (complete with batteries) and user’s manual. The remote control wasn’t at all great, because it featured very small and not that well-spaced keys which weren’t even illuminated.

Review conclusion

The Vizio E370VP that we tested and reviewed today is, all in all, a pretty good choice if you need a new TV that will perform well and come at an affordable price.
