Panasonic VIERA TC-L32X30
A 32 inch TV from Panasonic
Panasonic Viera TC-L32x30 is one of those TVs that you would like to have in your bedroom or in your dining room. Before into getting in the details, I must confess: in the near future, I’ll go for such a TV, as it is perfect: big flat screen (without being harmful for the eyes in small places), runs well on HD (720 p and 1080p) and most of all, a low price, that can be afforded by most of the middle class people.
Launched in March 2011, Viera TC-L32X30 is a 32” inch TV (or more exactly, 31,5″) that was meant to be bought mostly by users that do not have too much space available in the room, for example. Even if the latest fashion is to have a LCD with a diagonal bigger than 44”, Panasonic Viera TC-L32x30 will do just fine.
Basically, this model comes equipped with HD display capabilities, 2 full range speakers of 20 w each and a native resolution of 1366*768. Not extremely impressive, but it does have what it takes to fill most of the user’s requirements.
The first thing that we wanted to test for this review was the HD display capabilities. According to its manual, Panasonic TC-L32X30 is capable of running resolutions of 720p, 1080 p and 1080 i.
Good quality image
These can be adjusted from the remote without any difficulty. To be honest with you, we were much more satisfied of the 720p resolution than the one at 1080p. However, we have also tested its behavior when the TV had to run Blu Ray images. In this case, the 1080p was the most proper one, as we realized that the 1080p resolution was showing clearer details even in dark landscapes. So far, so good! Nothing to say bad about this TV.
Good view angles
As concerning its design, VIERA TC-L32X30 doesn’t bring anything different from the rest of the modern flat screen LCDs.
Moreover, I was pleased to see that the screen has a wide angle view, angle that can go up to 178 degrees. That’s the maximum angle from where image can be seen, and as far as I know, not a lot of the modern TVs have the angle view that wide.
Internet Ready technology
Other features of this TV are the Internet Ready Options. As you know, the X30 series are TVs made for Internet, therefore they can be used to browse certain web pages. For instance, the easy IPTV feature allows its users to browse on pre-established websites directly from the remote, without having the need of using a keyboard or a mouse. Though, these features allows only viewing and not typing, as typing is not possible from the remote, and neither the purpose of the TV wasn’t to allow users to use their TV as a netbook.
As concerning the price of this TV, it starts from $550 and goes up to $600-630, depending of the retailer you will buy it from. However, as we couldn’t find any weak parts of this TV, Viera TC L32X30 is definitely a fine TV that can fill the empty walls in every house.
