Just another 3D monitor
The new W2363D is a 23-inch monitor that comes with the kit Nvidia 3D Vision for 3D gaming. The monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Last year the LG producer announced the Flatron W2363D, a 23-inch LCD display built for 3D technology. The monitor comes with a Nvidia 3D Vision kit and includes a display able to work at 120 Hz. The starting of the 3D mode remains unchanged. You must connect the PC through the UBS and install the drivers Nvidia included in the package. The function is activated later in video games and is more or less spectacular with the 3D glasses.
23 inch display
We must admit that if the 3D mode already makes a new start in most games of this type, that’s even better in Full HD resolution. This is easily supported by the 23-inch display of W2363D. The only condition necessary to take advantage of this high-resolution 3D graphics card is that it must be really powerful so as to collect the charge! Clearly, if you do not have a GeForce GTX 285 (or higher) video card, you should mind your own business because the flow of games – except for “old” – is seriously affected by resolution and frequency.
LG said its brightness is classic (300 cd / m2) and the contrast ratio (given in dynamic, if nothing else) is 70000:1. This published value does not allow to estimate the quality of the image. However, players should not have to worry about the speed of W2363D, because its response time is about 3 ms in tests performed for this review.
The new LG W2363D offers alternative channels for the analog connection. With no VGA connector, it offers two HDMI inputs and a DVI-D. Ergonomics is, however, rejected in the background. This monitor can only tilt back and forth. The price of this monitor differs, depending on by store.
