720p 15.6″ LED WXGA display

As we all know, HP products are known for their good looks and this new model is no exception with its black stylish and sleek body. The device comes with the following measurements and weight: 9.8″ x 14.6″ x 1.1″ and 2.40kg, which mean that the laptop is among the slimmest and lightest ones out there; we had no problem carrying it around with us. Also, the stand was solid.
The front of the 4525s XT950UT notebook houses a 15.6″ LED WXGA display which comes with the following specs: 1366 x 768 resolution, 720p native high-definition resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. SATA hard disk

The keyboard is an island-type one; its buttons are well-spaced and very comfortable to the touch, so typing was very easy and enjoyable. As for trackpad: the HP ProBook 4525s XT950UT sports one with a lot of options and settings; this enabled us to find the best setting that worked for us.
In the hard drive and memory department, the device boasts the following: 320 GB 7200 rpm SATA II (with 7200rpm) and 2 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 (can be expanded to 8GB max). They were more than enough for our daily needs. Moreover, the hard drive offered enough space for various files, apps and much more and also faster access to data, programs and so on; and, combined with the memory, office productivity is greatly improved.

The processor of the 4525s XT950UT laptop uses is an AMD Athlon II P340 2.2GHz. It helped us easily multitask. With the help of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 we could watch movies and play games in the best of conditions.
As for operating system, the gadget uses Windows 7 Professional (the 32-bit version) and ships with Office 2010 starter. The operating system’s face recognition for logging in didn’t work that well, but it was rather fun to use.
